Day 14 today ... I have left TAIWAN for PANAMA ..... about 16 days trip ... haha .... longest .... but it will be my 1st trip to US ... when it comes to the 3rd trip it will be about the time I going to sign off .... anyway ... today is my duty working with 3rd engineer .... I really like to work with him ... he really will teach .... and he got patience .... not like 4th ... who only like to sit in engine control room and give instructions .... haha .... almost all dont like him .... lolx ..... hope tonight no alarm !!! haha .... ok .... U.S. HERE I COME .... i am here at 12:27 AM Day 13 here I am in TAIWAN, GAOXIAONG .... haha .... but now still anchorage outside ... some pics from the sea view .... haha .... today again .... woke up like 3am .... and did anchoring with 3rd .... then went for rest at 6am till 10am .... then went to help change the turbocharger filter .... then lunch at 12noon .... then 1pm help out with ME alignment .... then rest at 2pm ... which is now ... haha ... then went to wash clothes and now typing this post here ... haha .... ok .... entering TAIWAN tonight .... haha .... maybe can go shore bah .... i am here at 4:51 PM Day 12 today was not a good day .... rough weather .... a bit of sea sickness .... omg ... damn dizzy .... haiz .... lucky today only work till 3pm .... and I was doing nothing for the whole day ... painting and doing report ... haha .... now heading TAIWAN .... left HONGKONG this morning ... haha .... went to so many place in 12 days but the sad part is I never went down to any of these places ... only stay at port .... haha ... sian .... k la ... I wanna rest le ... not feeling well .... I m just weak and lousy .... i am here at 9:55 PM Day 11 today is sunday .... I have left YANTIAN for HONGKONG .... will be reaching HONGKONG tonight around 11pm .... this morning woke up damn early ... 3.30am .... for maneuvering .... haha .... damn it .... then went to rest at 8am ... till evening .... then work again .... haha .... slowly adapting to the work le .... haha .... sad that the other cadet and the 5th engineer is going off le .... haiz ..... more work for us .... i am here at 2:39 AM Day 10 haha ... finally its saturday !!!! half-day .... haha ... did simple stuff today .... cus nothing much to do ..... haha .... work till 12noon only .... got my cadet fund today ..... USD50 .... haha .... this is some money out of our pay .... haha .... hope can get more more more .... more money pls !!!! will be reaching YANTIAN tonight .... haha .... I got the schedule for this vessel till I sign off .... not going singapore at all le .... haha .... OMG .... meaning ... I will fly back to singapore from US. Haha .... many hours of flight .... but it think its ok bah .... haha ..... never fly so far before .... haha ... hope before that can have 1 or 2 day stay in US .... then can maybe go see see and shop shop .... most probably will sign off with 2nd, 3rd, and the cadet who sign on with me .... lol .... counting down days to return to my home sweet home ..... =) i am here at 10:18 PM Day 9 today was relaxed .... did cleaning ... and cleaning .... haha .... also nothing much .... so I am on my way to YANTIAN .... a port in china for bunkering .... then after that will be going to HONGKONG .... then my 5th and the other cadet will sign off .... and MORE WORK WILL HAVE TO BE DONE .... sian ... haha .... ok la .... nothing much to blog about today ... haha .... I wonder when can I go shore leave ... haha ... wanna go out see see .... i am here at 9:13 PM Day 8 I woke up super early today .... cus we left shanghai for ningbo .... another place of china .... haha .... will be alongside tonight or evening .... damn sick now .... cus the weather very bad .... rough sea .... and its cold outside .... and also our ship now lighter cus a lot of container was left at shanghai ... haha .... so pitch and row a lot more than usual .... I miss ice-cream !!! haha .... if u wanna know what about ice-cream, can ask weida why eat ice-cream during a bit of sea sick ... haha .... our favourite past time onboard =) hope to see snow in my 6months trip .... cus I will be all the way to USA .... haha .... by then ... maybe got chance to see a bit of snow !!! haha .... just called home ytd .... it seems so fast .... cus its been one week since I called home or sms ppl .... haha .... how I wish 6months will also be fast .... I just need more rest .... and my 5th said that I must at least complete 2assignment per work for my tarb book .... haha ..... OMG !!! i am here at 2:37 AM Day 6 today was having my day off .... cus I am having fever .... 40 degrees ... lol .... thx to concern for all ppl onboard .... everyone onboard just know about my fever. .... lol .... thx to 2nd officer who come take care of me ... take my temperature .... bring me medicine .... thx to 2nd cook who bring me all my meals ... haha .... thx to 2nd engineer who give me day off ... lol ..... spend my day at the hospital onboard .... just a room named hospital ... sort of qurantine cus scared its swine flu .... ok ... I m going back to rest =) i am here at 1:42 AM Day 5 today was not a very good day ... cus have been helping 3rd and 4th boxing back the fire pump .... climbing up and down to bring tools ... screwing back all stuff and doing cleaning .... damn tired .... haha .... today really tired .... blog again soon =) i am here at 12:03 AM Day 4 ... today is sunday .... its like finally we get half a day off .... haha .... today morning was quite relaxed .... just helping to move some stuff .... then take log .... quite ok la .... then went to clear the rubbish in my room .... dinner today was like .... damn nice la .... spag, fries, pork chop, fried chicken ... haha .... i'll show u in pic ..... just 15mins all the food almost gone .... haha ... then was going to rest like fucked .... cus damn tired .... till now my logbook only complete 1% of 200 pages .... haha .... damn worried .... but I got all the drawings for all the different system .... I will start my engine room drawing this few days .... haha .... but I almost forgot how to draw le .... 2 more days to shanghai .... I now somewhere in vietnam .... haha ..... i am here at 7:31 PM Day3 Today is the 3rd day ... haha .... today pass quite fast I guess .... cus got a lot of stuff to do .... soot blow and cleaning up .... today is the 1st time I love sweeping the floor so much ... haha .... own pace own timing .... today was our 1st monthly meeting also .... and I was the recorder .... damn paiseh .... cus I dont know what to write down .... luckily 3rd and 4th help me .... haha .... 2 more days to shanghai .... and i'll be able to call home ... and its like finally !!! haha .... oh ya .... over here if u dont wish to drink from the cooler cus some say its not clean so they buy mineral water .... 12 bottles about USD4.50 which is about S$6.30 ... which is only a few cents per bottle ... so I guess its ok to buy one too .... lolx .... but I think I will buy once only ... to save money ..... then I will everytime missed boiled water with the cooler water .... haha .... ok .... 2 more days +++ to shanghai .... see ya ... i am here at 10:12 PM Hi again .... I can say he is already 5th le la .... everything is done by him de loh .... its like all senior bully him .... but he say this is the only way to learn onboard ....so sad that he signing off le .... then I have to do a lot of stuff le ... haha .... no choice ... lolx ... but its quite fun working .... then now 2nd start to joke le .... I think he is only strict during work .... haha .... so I just ended work which is now 12am .... full away .... will reach shanghai in 4 days the most .... lolx .... damn fast .... learnt lots of stuff although its just 2days .... but a lot of stuff I can help le .... think this is really the point of time that will change me bah .... haha .... I miss u guys =) JIA YOU !!! i am here at 5:25 PM Day1 Today is the 1st day I m onboard my vessel which I will be in 6 months .... been attached to 5th engineer .... just the 1st day , its hell already .... haha .... just came onboard then was helping chief cook with the food and provision ... just like during my days with weida.... he will remember that .... haha .... then went engine room .... help out with all the new goods coming onboard for the new machines .... haha .... came up ard 10am ... been working till 3pm ... then rest 2 hours and need to be on standby ... this is not fun ... haha .... but its ok la ... haha .... this ship is damn big .... I dont mind about that .... but the engine room had 6 level .... and just the main engine is 3 level high le .... haha .... just climbing the stairs kills .... lucky other than the engine room, the rest have elevator .... haha .... so ... I m on my way to hong kong then shaghai then stopping here and there till PANAMA ... ok la ... I got fun ppl onboard ... my chief, 3rd, 4th, 5th all are nice ppl .... 2nd is not bad just that he very strict .... haha .... thanks to all the people who send me greetings .... haha ... and to weida and weekiat ... thanks for sending me off !!!! really so touched .... haha .... oh ya ... my cabin was big too .... one 3 seater sofa .... own toilet .... one bed .... 2 cupboard ... haha ... what else u can expect ..... haha .... still have bball court and gym and movie room and pingpong table .... haha .... not bad la .... just that its a 13 year old ship the machines got lots of problems .... so this is my start of my 6 months journey .... will see u ppl in 6months ... =) i am here at 11:24 PM |
